A family business
Matt Connor has a passion for learning and is a food lover at heart. After spending a decade living in Europe, he returned to Nova Scotia and started to recreate the chutneys and condiments he loved. Partnering with his sister Alex, they make delicious chutneys, preserves and sauces with fresh local ingredients from their community of Nova Scotia. They are driven by the belief that good food brings people together and strive every day to make sure their products do just that.
We aim to use as many local ingredients as we can. From cider to the fruit and vegetables we use, we look for the best quality. For example, our Apple Ale chutney is made with nearly 90% local ingredients including Valley apples and Local Beer
Artisan, small batch
We’ve learned the hard way, you can't mass produce good quality. We make our chutneys and sauces in small batches, ensuring the highest quality each time. Every recipe has been tested again and again.
Our community is at the heart of what we do. We're driven by our belief that good food brings people togther, and we strive every day to make sure our products do just that. We support local businesses whenever we can, and endevour to make our products and packadging more and more environmentally friendly.
